The Warner Bros. Pictures and DC full-length HBO Max Original feature film “Zack Snyder’s JL,” directed by Zack Snyder, will be released on 4K, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD on September 7, ushering in a new age of heroes. The plot was written by Chris Terrio, Zack Snyder, and Will Beall, and is based on DC characters, notably Superman, who was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The producers are Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder, with executive producers Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, Wesley Coller, Jim Rowe, Curtis Kanemoto, Chris Terrio, and Ben Affleck.

In “Zack Snyder’s JL,” Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) joins forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) to form a team of metahumans to safeguard the world from a looming danger of cataclysmic proportions, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain. The job becomes more difficult than Bruce anticipated, as each of the recruits must confront the demons of their own pasts in order to overcome the obstacles that have kept them apart, allowing them to ultimately unite and form an unparalleled league of heroes. Now that Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) have joined forces, it may be too late to save the Earth from Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid’s evil plans.
