Exclusive: Muse will be the main villain of Marvel’s ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ Season 1, confirmed by @DanielRPK on Twitter. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in early 2024.
Who Is Muse In Marvel Comics?
In Marvel comics, Muse first appeared in “Daredevil” (Vol. 5) #17, a comic published in 2012. He quickly established himself as a nemesis to the iconic hero, Daredevil. Muse is a vicious serial killer driven by a twisted belief that his victims are worthless and gain meaning only when he turns them into “art.” He shows contempt for compassion and fearlessly targets authorities, even kidnapping a judge and killing police officers.
Muse’s violent tendencies extend to superheroes like Daredevil and Blindspot, whom he attacks if they interfere with his gruesome artistic vision. His god complex reaches its extreme when faced with defeat, leading him to attempt suicide rather than accept punishment.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is created by Matt Corman and Chris Ord for Disney+. The series is centered on the character, following “Daredevil” (2015–2018) by Marvel Television.
The series will feature Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, and Sandrine Holt as Vanessa Fisk, Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Nikki M. James, and Michael Gaston. The showrunners for Daredevil: Born Again are Corman and Ord, who will also serve as head writers for the series. Michael Cuesta will direct some of the episodes of the series. See the set images.
Daredevil: Born Again season one consists of 18 episodes and is set to premiere on Disney+ in early 2024.
