Focus Features released the first trailer for ‘Lisa Frankenstein,’ starring Kathryn Newton. In 1989, during a lightning storm, an unpopular high school girl named Lisa (Newton) accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse. She then tries transforming him into the man of her dreams by using a broken tanning bed in her garage.
The film, written by Diablo Cody and marking Zelda Williams’ debut as a feature-length director, features a cast that includes Newton as Lisa, along with Cole Sprouse, Carla Gugino, Liza Soberano, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry.

A coming of RAGE love story from acclaimed writer Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body) about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse.
