During the 81st Golden Globe Awards, Selena Gomez was spotted chatting with Taylor Swift. Some speculated, based on lip-reading claims, that they were discussing Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet. The actress later expresses her concern about potentially ‘upsetting’ the couple.
In an Instagram comment (Via Pop Base), Gomez clarified the conversation with Swift at the Golden Globes, debunking rumors about Jenner and Chalamet: “Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone business.”
Despite online rumors, a source told People.com that Gomez was not gossiping about Chalamet and Jenner at the Golden Globes. The source mentioned, “[Selena] never even saw or spoke to them.”
In footage from TMZ, Chalamet says the rumors about Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez are silly.
Chalamet makes it clear that neither he nor Kylie have any problems with Selena. “Would you ever deny Selena a photo? Is that ridiculous? What’s the chance? […] Of course we’re fine; why wouldn’t we be?”
Recently, Gomez and Benny Blanco shared a sweet kiss at the Golden Globes, as seen in a photo on Gomez’s Instagram Story. She wore a red and black Giorgio Armani dress with a black jacket.
