Liza Singer, who directed the 5 episodes of the Disney+ series ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,’ is now working as an Episodic Director for a new secret Marvel Studios series.
In her LinkedIn bio update, Singer reveals her current role as a Director at Marvel Studios. Singer said, “I’ve been dying to talk about this. Feels like a homecoming. [I can’t share what for at the moment]. Ideally, when there is press I’ll be able to say more.”
However, we have no idea what that secret project is. Marvel recently launched its Animation TV shows with ‘X-Men ’97‘. The upcoming slates include ‘Marvel Zombies,’ ‘Eyes of Wakanda,’ and Season 3 of ‘What If…?‘.
‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,’ created by Jeff Trammell for Disney+, features a main voice cast including Hudson Thames as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Eugene Byrd as Lonnie Lincoln, Grace Song as Nico Minoru, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus, Kari Wahlgren as May Parker, and Zeno Robinson as Harry Osborn.
What is the Plot of ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’?
As Disney+ officially released the plot details, Marvel Studios presents Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man in which Peter Parker’s life, while getting ready for his High School orientation, is forever changed by events that send him on a journey like none before.
Speaking to Men’s Health, Executive Producer Brad Winderbaum describes ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ as “a very high school, ensemble-driven show with Peter Parker at the center. It’s just so much fun.”
The series is produced by the Marvel Animation division of Marvel Studios, with Executive Producers including Kevin Feige, Winderbaum, and Trammell.

‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ will premiere on Disney+ on November 2, 2024.
