Tom Holland seems to be an overly caring and protective boyfriend to Zendaya. He recently admitted that he occasionally Googles her, explaining that it’s partly an anxiety-driven habit.
In an interview with On The Menu!, Holland appeared to discuss his new non-alcoholic beer, BERO. During the chat, Holland said that he occasionally Googles Zendaya to make sure “everything’s good” with her. He finds reassurance in knowing she’s fine, saying, “I just give her a little Google… she’s good. Fine.” Although rooted in concern, Holland’s habit comes off as both caring and humorously quirky.
Holland said, “Sometimes it’s more of an anxiety thing, but I’ll check to see that everything’s good and just make sure we’re all cool. I just give her a little Google, I’m like, ‘She’s good. Fine.’”
He clarified that his Google searches for Zendaya aren’t just about looking at photos of her. “I don’t use social media, and I delete it when I don’t need it,” he added.
In an interview with Elle, Zendaya opened up about navigating the balance of maintaining a private relationship with Tom Holland in the public eye.
“I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. You can’t hide. That’s not fun either. I am navigating it more than ever now,” she said.
“It’s about protecting your peace and allowing things to be your own, but also not being afraid to exist.”
Tom Holland and Zendaya Will Appear in Spider-Man 4
Holland and Zendaya will next be seen on the big screen in Sony/Marvel’s Spider-Man 4. Holland revealed that he and Zendaya read the final draft together and believes it is “worthy of fan respect.”
In a recent episode of the Rich Roll Podcast, Holland said, “We have a creative pitch and a draft, which is excellent. It needs work, but the writers are doing a great job.” Holland added, “I read it 3 weeks ago, and it really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I read it together, and at times we were bouncing around the living room, like, ‘This is a real movie worthy of fans’ respect.'”
Filming for Spider-Man 4 is set to begin on May 25, 2025, in the U.K. and is expected to wrap in October. Additionally, Holland will complete his scenes for Avengers: Doomsday before starting production on Spider-Man 4.
Spider-Man 4 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 26, 2026.
