New set images of Timothée Chalamet and Tyler, the Creator on the set of Josh Safdie‘s Marty Supreme have leaked during filming in New York City.
In the images, we can see Tyler driving a New York City yellow cab, with Chalamet’s Marty seated nearby. Check them out below!
Safdie directs the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ronald Bronstein, Marty Supreme is loosely based on the life of Marty Reisman, a force to be reckoned with in 1950s ping-pong culture. Known for his unconventional style, Reisman won two U.S. Men’s Singles Championships in 1958 and 1960, as well as more than 20 international and national titles.
Here’s the plot synopsis for Marty Supreme:
“A hustler-turned-champion ping pong player Marty Reisman’s journey from playing for bets in Manhattan to winning 22 major titles and becoming the oldest to win a national racket sport competition at 67.”
Recently, set images of Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow filming in Central Park, New York City, were released, showing their characters sharing a kiss in some shots.
The cast of Marty Supreme features Chalamet as Marty, Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’zion, Penn Jillette, Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara, Fran Drescher as Marty’s mother, and Sandra Bernhard.
Produced by Josh Safdie, Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, and Anthony Katagas, with production companies Elara Pictures and A24.
Marty Supreme will hit theaters in 2025, distributed by A24.
