First Look: Barry Keoghan and Chris Hemsworth on the Set of Bart Layton’s Crime 101 in Los Angeles

The first-look set images of Barry Keoghan and Chris Hemsworth from the set of Bart Layton‘s Crime 101 were leaked during filming on Tuesday afternoon (November 19, 2024) in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, USA.

In the images, Keoghan’s undisclosed character is riding a motorcycle dressed as a stunt rider—while Hemsworth, wearing a casual suit, is seen with Mark Ruffalo.

Filming began in early November, and some set images of Hemsworth, Ruffalo, and Halle Berry have appeared online.

Here’s the plot synopsis for Crime 101:

A series of high-level jewelry thefts up and down the Pacific Coast Highway have gone unsolved for years, primarily because the perpetrator has lived by a strict code he calls Crime 101. Police attribute the thefts to Colombian cartels, but Detective Lou Lubesnick’s gut says it’s the work of just one man. Now the lone-wolf jewel thief is looking for that fabled final last score and Lou breaks all the rules of Crime 101.

Directed by Layton — who co-wrote the screenplay with contributions from Peter Straughan.

The film stars Hemsworth as Davis, a jewel thief, Ruffalo as Detective Lou Lubesnick, along with Keoghan, Berry, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Payman Maadi, and Babak Tafti.

Produced by Chris Hemsworth, Ben Grayson, Bart Layton, Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan, Dimitri Doganis, Derrin Schlesinger, and Shane Salerno, with production companies Raw, Working Title Films, and The Story Factory.

Crime 101 will hit theaters in the United States in 2025, by Amazon MGM Studios.
