Alice Winocour’s Stitches, starring Angelina Jolie, has begun filming in Paris. Jolie plays a filmmaker and one of three women whose lives intersect during Paris Fashion Week.
Directed by Winocour — her first English-language directorial project — Stitches is set in the world of high fashion and unfolds in Paris. Jolie stars in the movie as a filmmaker and is one of three women whose lives will collide during Fashion Week.
Stitches also stars Anyier Anei, Garance Marillier, and Finnegan Oldfield.
Produced by Charles Gillibert of CG Cinéma, Zhang Xin, and William Horberg of Closer Media, Stitches also features Bob Xu as an executive producer. Pathé Films, which previously collaborated with Winocour on Revoir Paris at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, will handle distribution in France.
The project is co-produced with Chanel and France 3 Cinéma. Additional funding has been provided by La Région Île-de-France, Canal+, Ciné+, OCS, and France Télévisions.
Stitches is set to be released in theaters in 2025.
