Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for Novocaine, starring Jack Quaid as Nathan Caine, a mild-mannered introvert with a rare disorder—congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP)—who must rescue his girlfriend (Amber Midthunder) after she is taken hostage during a bank robbery.
The trailer shows Quaid’s Nate taking multiple stabs without feeling any pain or emotions. He is on a mission to search for his wife. Jacob Batalon‘s character appears to be a friendly ally to Nate. Will he save his wife? Watch the trailer below.

When the girl of his dreams (Midthunder) is kidnapped, everyman Nate (Quaid) turns his inability to feel pain into an unexpected strength in his fight to get her back.
The film also stars Ray Nicholson, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh.
Novocaine will hit theaters in the United States on March 14, 2025, by Paramount Pictures.
