Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 will premiere on March 4, 2025, and in the same month, Season 2 will begin filming.
According to a report, Marvel Studios is eyeing Boyd Holbrook (The Predator, Logan) to play the role of the villain Hammerhead in Season 2, as he is expected to appear in six of the season’s nine episodes.

In Marvel Comics, Hammerhead first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #113 in 1972—created by writer Gerry Conway and artist John Romita Sr. He is a violent mob enforcer with a steel-reinforced skull—which helps him rise in the criminal underworld. Over time, he has fought Spider-Man and Daredevil many times. He has also been involved in gang wars against Kingpin and Silvermane—clashed with Doctor Octopus—and even got cybernetic upgrades to become stronger. With his ruthless nature and old-school gangster style, Hammerhead remains one of Marvel’s most dangerous crime bosses.
Recently, insider Daniel Richtman revealed in a Patreon post that Marvel is currently “casting for a recurring role — a female character in her 40s of Greek descent, with a one-year contract.”
In an interview with SFX magazine, Vincent D’Onofrio reveals that Kingpin’s size will change in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

D’Onofrio said, “The size he ends up at in the end, he’ll stay that way, but we’re doing some things in [Season 2] that require his size to be more specific and detailed.”
The episode titles for Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 are “Heaven’s Half Hour,” “With Interest,” “The Hollow of His Hand,” “Straight to Hell,” “Sic Semper Systema,” “Isle of Joy,” “Excessive Force,” “Art For Art’s Sake,” and “Optics.”
