The VOD release date for Opus, starring Ayo Edebiri, has been revealed. The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV starting on April 1, 2025.
Here’s the plot details for Opus:
A young writer (Edebiri) is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star (John Malkovich) who mysteriously disappeared thirty years ago. Surrounded by the star’s cult of sycophants and intoxicated journalists, she finds herself in the middle of his twisted plan.

The film is written and directed by Mark Anthony Green in his feature directorial debut and also stars Juliette Lewis as Clara Armstrong, Murray Bartlett as Stan, Amber Midthunder as Belle, Stephanie Suganami as Emily, Young Mazino as Kent, Tatanka Means as Najee, Tony Hale as Soledad Yusef, Melissa Chambers as Bianca Tyson, and Tamera Tomakili as Rachel. Additionally, Lil Nas X and Lenny Kravitz make cameo appearances as Moretti fans, while Bill Burr appears as himself, and Rosario Dawson provides the voice for the Billie Holiday puppet.
