The filming of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland, has wrapped in London and has now entered the post-production stage. The wrap was confirmed by Alex P (via Cosmic Circus) and UnBoxPHD, who shared production images from the shoot.
Filming began on August 1, 2025, in Glasgow and, after a continuous 128-day shoot (about 4 months and a week), concluded on December 6, 2025.

The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds, and Tony Revolori as Eugene “Flash” Thompson.
Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
Rumored plot details reveal that in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Bruce Banner (Ruffalo) is being mentally controlled and transforms into the Savage Hulk, who begins wreaking havoc across New York City. Spider-Man (Holland) attempts to stop him but fails. The Punisher, Frank Castle (Bernthal), equipped with advanced technology, teams up with Spider-Man to take Hulk down. He uses a gamma-based weapon that injures Hulk, forcing him back into his human form and leaving Bruce Banner badly hurt.
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Bernthal opened up about the Punisher’s appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Bernthal said, “I think what was really important to me and to Destin [Daniel Cretton] and to Tom [Holland] is that we believed that the Punisher could walk off of the Spider-Man set and could walk onto the Special set, and I do believe that we achieved that.”
Following the incident in New York City, the Avengers and the Thunderbolts (now known as the New Avengers) arrive on the scene hoping to recruit Spider-Man and the Punisher, but both decline their offers.

As shadows from the past creep into his present, he must redefine what it truly means to be a hero — on his own.
