In the leaked trailer for Scary Movie 6, fans were able to spot references to M3GAN, Terrifier, Sinners, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Exorcist, The Substance, Longlegs, Heretic, and of course Scream, with many especially excited about the return of Cindy and Brenda.
The official first trailer for Scary Movie 6 will be released on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Directed by Michael Tiddes and penned by Marlon, Shawn, and Keenen Ivory Wayans with Rick Alvarez, the movie is the sixth chapter in the Scary Movie saga and follows the events of Scary Movie 4.
Movies that will be parodied in Scary Movie 6 include Weapons, M3GAN, Sinners, The Substance, Get Out, Ma, Terrifier, Longlegs, Smile, Halloween, and Scream VI.
The cast includes Anna Faris as Cindy Campbell, Regina Hall as Brenda Meeks, Marlon Wayans as Shorty Meeks, Shawn Wayans as Ray Wilkins, Jon Abrahams as Bobby Prinze, Lochlyn Munro as Greg Phillippe, and Dave Sheridan as Doofy Gilmore, alongside Anthony Anderson, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Damon Wayans Jr., Kim Wayans, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Felissa Rose, Savannah Lee Nassif, Cameron Scott Roberts, Sydney Park, Gregg Wayans, Ruby Snowber, and Benny Zielke.
In an interview with EW, Marlon Wayans said that Scary Movie 6 would be “no holds barred and equal-opportunity offenders.”
Wayans said, “It’s how we’ve always done it.” He added, “We just want to make everybody laugh, and we don’t care if you’re sensitive. Even sensitive people need to laugh at themselves.”
Scary Movie 6 will hit theaters on June 12, 2026, by Paramount Pictures.
