Warning: This post contains spoilers for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
It’s official — Scorpion, Boomerang, and Tarantula are appearing in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The latest trailer, which was released recently, shows the appearance of Scorpion, Boomerang, and Tarantula in their suits fighting Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man.

Michael Mando is confirmed to play Mac Gargan, but the actors playing Boomerang and Tarantula have not yet been revealed.

The trailer also shows The Hand fighting Spider-Man and more surprising sequences. Although Marvin Jones III‘s Tombstone is missing, Marvel might have saved his appearance for a later trailer.
Here are the plot details for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he has devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and based on the Marvel comic book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the film is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Rachel O’Connor, with Louis D’Esposito and David Cain serving as executive producers.
The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU.
