Scarlett Johansson is currently filming a late-night action sequence for Mike Flanagan’s The Exorcist. She was spotted shooting in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, New York.
In the images, Johansson is seen holding a prop gun, with a bloody nose, wearing a red sweater and pink pajama pants.
The images below shows Scarlett Johansson and Jacobi Jupe on set. Jupe is reportedly playing her son in the film.
In an all-new story set in The Exorcist universe, a rookie detective (Johansson) trying to prove herself is plunged into an unimaginable evil that rattles everything she believes. The film is described as a “radical new take.” It is set in the same universe as the 1973 classic and is unrelated to the recent sequels.
Most recently, Scarlett Johansson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sasha Calle, and Rahul Kohli were spotted on set while filming an investigation scene.

The film is a reboot of The Exorcist franchise and will serve as the seventh installment in the series. It is written and directed by Flanagan.
