Sony Pictures has revealed the title for the upcoming Jumanji movie starring Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan.
During Sony Pictures’ panel at CinemaCon 2026, it was revealed that Jumanji 4 is officially titled Jumanji: Open World. The film, which will serve as the fifth and final installment in the Jumanji series, follows the virtual world colliding with the real world as the human characters meet the video game characters while they are in demo mode.
On X, Brandon Davis shared the first footage description for Jumanji: Open World, which was screened at CinemaCon.

Lamorne Morris plays a handyman who discovers an old video game console in a basement.
Danny DeVito is shocked to see Dr. Bravestone at Nora’s, with the video game character now appearing in the real world. This time, Bravestone speaks with an exaggerated sexy Latino accent and jokes, “Of course you know because of my charisma, sí, sí!”
The characters and animals are now stuck in the real world in “demo mode.” Bravestone and Ruby Roundhouse have broken up, and Jack Black’s character realizes they are no longer in Jumanji. The guide wishes them luck before racing off.
Bravestone claims the fate of Jumanji is in his hands, but Kevin Hart’s character argues with him, leading to a funny exchange in Spanish.
The footage also shows rhinos, lizards, and other animals running loose in the real world. ATVs, bikes, and large-scale adventures unfold across different terrains, from snowy mountains to lush sunny landscapes.
At one point, Bravestone challenges his enemies to stop him before hitting the People’s Eyebrow.
The trailer ends with the characters back inside the game, with the original players once again inhabiting their video game avatars.
Overall, the footage looks fun, ambitious, and refreshingly different from its predecessors.
