The new gameplay footage for Marvel’s Wolverine reveals the bloodier and more mature tone of Logan’s upcoming adventure.
According to new details about the Wolverine game, the X-Men do not exist in this universe. The game will also include low-gore options for players who are squeamish about blood. Logan can die if his heart stops, but adrenaline and rage can restart it. Additionally, Logan is part of a group called Team X, which saves mutants around the world.
Multiple unannounced mutants are reportedly set to appear in the Wolverine game.

So far, Mystique, Sabretooth, Omega Red, and Jean Grey have been confirmed to appear, with additional mutant characters expected to be revealed at a later date.
Speaking to IGN, game director Mike Daly confirmed that Wolverine will be a linear game.
Daly said, “We did not set out to make an open-world game or a sandbox game. What we really wanted was a high-octane, high-intrigue, linear single-player adventure, and the missions reflect that in their structure.”
Synopsis: Marvel’s Wolverine is an action-packed adventure from Insomniac Games, the acclaimed studio behind the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. Developed in collaboration with Marvel Games, the title tells an original story centered on the iconic comic-book hero.
Logan believed his days as Wolverine were behind him, but the past has other plans. Three years after leaving his team, he is forced to rejoin the mutant task force Team X during its darkest hour.
A fanatic who believes in human superiority, Bolivar Trask is kidnapping mutants around the world. To stop him and rescue those in danger, Wolverine must once again embrace the role he tried to leave behind.
His journey takes him across the globe, including locations such as Canada, Japan, and the island nation of Madripoor, where he will team up with fellow mutants to confront a growing threat. With the future of both humans and mutants at stake, Logan knows the world needs a hero—even if all it gets is Wolverine.
