The first international poster for Avengers: Doomsday is being handed out at San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026.
The poster features Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom alongside his three Latverian witches. We can see Doom’s castle in the background, with the three witches standing alongside him on the staircase. The three witches are dressed in green, orange, and purple.
Who are the Latverian witches hiding behind the masks? There are plenty of theories among fans and scoopers. Some theories suggest that the witches could be Wanda Maximoff (possibly a variant), Clea, and Sylvie.
Scooper James Mack reported, “Only one of the Latverian witches will show her face, guys, and she’s disguised as Peggy Carter.”
In the recent ScreenX trailer, a glimpse of one of the Latverian witches was seen kneeling before Doctor Doom. The three Latverian witches are very powerful, as they perform rituals and help Doom carry out his plans.
Below, you can see images of the Avengers: Doomsday promotional booth at Málaga Comic Con. It features a large Avengers “A” logo on a stone platform, glowing green vertical panels, a detailed Thor’s hammer prop, and Captain America’s shield embedded in a textured wall.
Speaking to Fandango, director Joe Russo revealed that Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom could also make Avengers: Doomsday feel frightening. The film will have a very different tone compared with other Avengers movies.
Joe said, “It’s intense. It’s different from any of the other movies Marvel’s made… The tone is very different — you have Robert Downey Jr. playing one of the all-time great villains, and he’s going to bring a level of gravitas and energy to that that can be frightening.”

Avengers: Doomsday is produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz.

Avengers: Doomsday releases exclusively in cinemas on December 18, 2026. The film will be available in INFINITY VISION, a new certification for Premium Large Format (PLF) cinemas.
