‘Hazbin Hotel’ Set to Premiere on Prime Video in January 2024 – Watch the Teaser
Created by Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano, it follows Princess Charlie Morningstar’s quest to rehabilitate demons for entry into heaven. The series follows Charlie Morningstar (voiced by Jill Harris), the princess of Hell, who dreams of opening the “Happy Hotel” to rehabilitate sinners. In Hell, due to overpopulation, angels purge demons once a year. Charlie wants a peaceful solution, aiming to send her clients to heaven as redeemed souls.
She’s assisted by her devoted manager and girlfriend, Vaggie (Monica Franco, pilot), and their first patron, Angel Dust (Michael Kovach, pilot). Despite a mishap during a live TV proposal, her plan gains the attention of the powerful “Radio Demon” Alastor (Edward Bosco), who, though skeptical of redemption, wants to help for his own amusement. Alastor summons Niffty, the housekeeper, and Husk, the bartender, to aid with the hotel.
Medrano serves as the executive producer and director for all episodes of ‘Hazbin Hotel.’ Joel Kuwahara, Dana Tafoya-Cameron, and Scott Greenberg are executive producers through A24, with Greenberg serving as EP for the first season.
‘Hazbin Hotel’ Season 1 will have eight episodes and is scheduled to premiere in January 2024, exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
