Nicole Kidman (Babygirl) is in talks to star in an untitled erotic thriller at A24.
According to Deadline, Dylan Brady’s untitled erotic thriller sparked a bidding war before landing at A24 in a seven-figure deal, with Kidman in talks to star. The project was originally titled Discretion but will be renamed to avoid confusion with another A24 series.
The film follows a struggling actor who takes a nannying job with a high-flying producer and her movie-star husband, plotting to seduce his employers and exploit their industry connections, only to find himself ensnared in a far more dangerous game.

Last year, in an interview, Brady said that the series came from a real-life friend who took on a job as a home help for a high-powered couple before becoming entwined in their lives. The project draws inspiration from Fatal Attraction, Eyes Wide Shut, and Sunset Boulevard, while aiming to subvert traditional storytelling conventions.
Brady said, “Erotic thrillers have historically always been very heterosexual, and it’s the marital unit that is the hero that has to be preserved at all costs from an evil slut who threatens that unity.” He added, “I thought about what this looks like in 2025. What if the slut is the hero and there is something rotten in the marriage? I wanted to break form and put a queer lens on it.”
Recently, A24 secured Chandler Baker’s short story Discretion in a seven-figure deal, later attaching Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, and writer Susannah Grant. The project sparked a bidding war and landed at Paramount+ with a straight-to-series order.
According to the report, the film’s title will be announced soon, and pre-production has already begun. Filming is set to begin this fall.
