Adam Scott revealed that Sony’s Madame Web, starring Dakota Johnson, is going to be really great. Scott plays a younger version of Ben Parker (Peter Parker‘s Uncle Ben). The film is set to be released in theaters on February 16, 2024.
Most recently, the set images of Madame Web were leaked from Boston, Massachusetts. Dakota Johnson and Adam Scott were dressed in paramedic uniforms. Speaking to Omelete, Scott said, “Madame Web is going to be really great. Dakota Johnson is the star of the movie and she’s so good, so likable. And it was very very fun. This one also has a great cast.”
Madame Web is directed by S. J. Clarkson from a screenplay by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. The film also stars Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, and Zosia Mamet.
During an interview with Variety, Johnson said that the initial filming had wrapped and called it a “wild experience.” She said, “It was a wild experience.” Johnson added, “I don’t think you can be prepped to go into anything like that, but I learned so much. It’s a completely different way of making films, you know? And then, I went into making one of my company’s tiny, tiny little movies right after, so I got a real taste of different kinds of cinema last year.” (Via Comingsoon)
Speaking to the Deadline Podcast, Sydney Sweeney said about Madame Web that “I’m loving it, it’s been a whole new process for me.”
