Andrew Garfield (“The Amazing Spider-Man” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home”) and Tom Hardy (“Venom” and “Mad Max: Fury Road”) will star together in Audible’s new audio drama production of George Orwell’s dystopian classic, ‘1984.’
According to Empire, Garfield will star in Audible’s audio drama of George Orwell’s ‘1984,’ as Winston Smith. Romesh Ranganathan voices Parsons, Cynthia Erivo plays Julia, and Hardy plays Big Brother. Andrew Scott is O’Brien, and Natasia Demetriou is Mrs. Parsons.
The drama is written by Joe White, directed by Destiny Ekaragha, and has an original score by Matt Bellamy and Ilan Eshkeri.
The full audio drama of Orwell’s ‘1984’ arrives on Audible on April 4, 2024, marking four decades since Winston’s first diary entry in the original novel.
