Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth attended the Australian premiere of ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga‘ in Sydney, Australia, on May 2, 2024.
Directed by George Miller from a script he co-wrote with Nico Lathouris, his co-writer from ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’ The film stars Taylor-Joy as Imperator Furiosa, Hemsworth as Warlord Dementus, Tom Burke as Praetorian Jack, Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus, Lachy Hulme as Immortan Joe/Rizzdale Pell, John Howard as The People Eater, Angus Sampson, and Quaden Bayles.
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
