The extended cut of Sony’s ‘Anyone But You,’ titled ‘Anyone But You: The Valentine Encore,’ is scheduled to hit theaters on February 9, 2024, offering all new bonus content for audiences and a romantic experience.
In the edgy comedy Anyone But You, Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.
The film is based on Ilana Wolpert’s script, which Will Gluck is rewriting and directing. Produced by Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Gluck (who, with his Olive Bridge Entertainment, has a first-look deal with Sony), Executive produced by Sweeney for Fifty-Fifty Films, Natalie Sellers, and Alyssa Altman for RK Films.
The film also stars Alexandra Shipp, Michelle Hurd, Bryan Brown, Darren Barnet, Hadley Robinson, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel Griffiths, and GaTa.
The release date for the 4K Blu-ray and DVD versions of ‘Anyone But You’ is set for February 27, 2024. The film is available for pre-order on Amazon.
The movie earned over $127 million, exceeding its $25 million budget.
