Netflix has renewed Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Fubar‘ for a second season. The announcement was made by Schwarzenegger during Netflix’s Tudum event on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
With 8 episodes, ‘Fubar’ season 1 premiered on May 25, 2023. It received “mixed or average reviews” from the audience, but was good to watch.
Created by Nick Santora for Netflix and produced by Skydance Television and Blackjack Films. The plot follows a CIA Operative on the verge of retirement who discovers a family secret. Forced to go back into the field for one last job, the series tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action, and humor.
Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as Luke Brunner, Monica Barbaro as Emma Brunner, Milan Carter as Barry, Gabriel Luna as Boro Polonia, Fortune Feimster as Roo, Travis Van Winkle as Aldon, Fabiana Udenio as Tally Brunner, Jay Baruchel as Carter, Barbara Eve Harris as Dot, Aparna Brielle as Tina, Andy Buckley as Donnie, with Devon Bostick as Oscar, David Chinchilla as Cain Khan, Stephanie Sy as Sandy, Scott Thompson as Dr. Pfeffer, and Rachel Lynch as Romi. Notable guest stars include Adam Pally, Tom Arnold, Sunny Sandler, and Sadie Sandler.
Santora also serves as an executive producer alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger. Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Holly Dale, and Bill Bost will also be executive producers on the show, along with David Ellison and Dana Goldberg from Skydance.
