Good Bye To Ash And Pikachu For The 25 years
The Pokémon anime’s protagonists Ash Ketchum and Pikachu are set to leave in 2023. In a new series planned to debut next year, two new heroes will take the place of the legendary figure.
Following the news that Ash and Pikachu will be departing the Pokémon anime series, Ash Ketchum voice actress Sarah Natochenny wrote a letter to fans on Twitter. “It’s been an extraordinary privilege to have been the English voice of Ash Ketchum for what will be 17 years. No matter what lies beyond his final chapter, he’ll live forever in the hearts of many generations to come. I’ll keep him present for all of us in every way I can.” Check out the post below.
On Friday, The Pokémon Company said when Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series ends, a new series will take its place. The new series will be a story about Liko and Roy, along with the starter Pokémon Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, and the shiny Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza.

Following Ash’s big victory, there are five episodes of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, three of which have already appeared in Japan. The show’s English version has yet to premiere on Netflix. The release date has not been announced.
