‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die‘ had its world premiere in Los Angeles. The film is the fourth installment in the Bad Boys franchise and the sequel to ‘Bad Boys for Life’ (2020). In the film, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return as Mike and Marcus. According to reports, the film is an action movie that is bombastic in every way, a true throwback to a different time and style. It’s fast-paced, heartfelt, and features one of the most jaw-dropping action sequences in recent memory.

According to X user Chalice‘s review, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die is summer Blockbuster type shit right here! Bad Boys was SO MUCH FUN! Martin & Will still on their funny game, jokes were elite! There’s a scene with Reggie that was hands down the best sequence, who would have thought! The 4th installment is just as good as the 2nd one! Exhilarating from start to finish. This franchise is consistently solid & the camera angles were FIRE! Definitely going to see it again.”

According to X user Islah, “Absolutely incredible. The creative direction is something I’ve never seen before! Directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah took it to the next level! Will Smith and Martin Lawrence over-delivered in this movie, the whole cinema was cheering and screaming!”

According to X user Josh Barton, “The film is an absolutely WILD ride!! It reflects on the franchise’s greatest hits while Adil & Bilall still manage to deliver refreshing and energetic action sequences – with some brilliant surprises along the way. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are great together as always, and I’d happily watch them do these into their older years. This one requires the most suspension of disbelief in the franchise so far for sure!”

According to X user Tessa Smith – Mama’s Geeky, “ThBad Boys: Ride or Die exceeded my expectations & is quite possibly my favorite of the franchise. It’s corny and ridiculous, but also a whole lot of fun. While it’s a tad too long, it does a good job of keeping you entertained throughout. The cinematography is a trip!”

Directed by Adil & Bilall and written by Chris Bremner. The film stars Will Smith as Detective Lieutenant Michael Eugene “Mike” Lowrey, Martin Lawrence as Detective Lieutenant Marcus Miles Burnett, Jacob Scipio as Armando Aretas, Vanessa Hudgens as Kelly, Alexander Ludwig as Dorn, Paola Núñez as Lieutenant Rita Secada, Tasha Smith as Theresa Burnett, John Salley as Fletcher, Eric Dane as the villain Banker, DJ Khaled as Manny the Butcher, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, Joyner Lucas, Quinn Hemphill, and Melanie Liburd.

According to the film’s plot, “This summer, the world’s favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your-seat action and outrageous comedy, but this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run.”

‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ will hit theaters on June 7, 2024, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
