The first trailer for Ben Affleck‘s film “Air” has been released. Matt Damon as Sonny Vaccaro and Ben Affleck as Phil Knight was revealed in the trailer. Vaccaro, a Nike shoe salesman, works to sign Michael Jordan to a contract to wear their shoes. Watch the trailer below.
Directed by Ben Affleck from a screenplay by Alex Convery. Affleck, Damon, Peter Guber, Jason Michael Berman, Jeff Robinov, Madison Ainley, and David Ellison are producing. According to Variety, Amazon spent $7 million on a Super Bowl LVII advertisement.
According to the film’s logline, “This moving story follows the career-defining gamble of an unconventional team with everything on the line, the uncompromising vision of a mother who knows the worth of her son’s immense talent, and the basketball phenom who would become the greatest of all time.”

Jordan Sr., Joel Gretsch as John O’Neil, Gustaf Skarsgård as Horst Dassler, Barbara Sukowa as Kathy Dassler, Jessica Green as Katrina Sainz, and Dan Bucatinsky as Richard.
Air will hit theaters on April 5, 2023.
