Benedict Cumberbatch Confirms Doctor Strange-Related MCU Project Filming Next Year, Details Remain Unknown
In an interview with Nick Hackworth’s JW3 Speaker Series, Benedict Cumberbatch revealed that the Doctor Strange-related MCU project will start filming next year. However, he didn’t disclose any further details or the project’s name.
“There are some Marvel capers in the making next year.”
There are several upcoming MCU projects in which Doctor Strange might make an appearance, including “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” “Fantastic Four,” and “Doctor Strange 3.” “The Kang Dynasty” is slated for a theatrical release on May 1, 2026, and it has the potential to reintroduce additional Avengers characters.
