Wong will return in Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’
Marvel isn’t moving on without Benedict Wong‘s Wong, as he seems to be the backbone of the MCU. According to the Instagram source Atlanta Filming, who leaked several images of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ reshoots taking place in Atlanta, it is hinted that Wong’s MCU character has been spotted on the set of reshoots.
Wong’s Future in the MCU
How could Marvel avoid Wong, as he is the Sorcerer Supreme? He last appeared in Disney’s ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘ and played a major part in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ before that. There are also reports that Wong will appear in ‘Avengers 5.’
According to Alex P of The Cosmic Circus, Wong will be assembling the new Avengers in ‘Brave New World’.
In a recent interview with Radio Times, Benedict Wong hinted that his character “might” show up in a future project. “At some point in the future, yeah, I think he might come back.”
“And yeah, it’s kind of just spiraled into a much-beloved character, which I’m all for. Now that he’s got the promotion of being the Sorcerer Supreme, we’ll see what lies ahead,” he said. “I’m a massive Marvel fan anyway, so it’s a bit of a win-win for me.”
