What is the Plot of Maestro?
Maestro is a towering and fearless love story chronicling the lifelong relationship between cultural icon Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. A love letter to life and art, Maestro, at its core, is an emotionally epic portrayal of family and love.
Bradley Cooper directs and stars as Bernstein, with Carey Mulligan as Montealegre. The film also stars Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, and Sarah Silverman in supporting roles. Produced by Cooper, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Todd Phillips, from a screenplay co-written by Cooper and Josh Singer.
Maestro will debut at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, contending for the Golden Lion on September 2, 2023. It will hit theaters on November 22, 2023, and then arrive on Netflix for streaming on December 20, 2023. See the poster below.
