The official Twitter account of Call of Duty tweets, “Due to recent events, we have removed the “NICKMERCS Operator” bundle from the Modern Warfare II and Warzone store. We are focused on celebrating PRIDE with our employees and our community.”
Later, NICKMERCS explains that as parents, he and his wife want to teach their child about LGBTQ. He doesn’t want this topic taught by a public school. Call of Duty removed his DLC from the game for having this opinion.
Recently, NICKMERCS responded to the backlash over his tweet. He said, “I didn’t mean to upset anyone, I know that I did. I’m not apologizing about the tweet because I don’t feel like it’s wrong.”
