Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio were spotted working out with trainer Naqam Washington at the gym for the upcoming Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again. Naqam Washington, who has been Charlie Cox’s trainer on Daredevil, The Defenders, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Cox has recently joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, reprising his role as Daredevil (aka Matt Murdock) in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 8. Check out the image below.
Vincent D’Onofrio’s Crime Boss Is Returning?
Vincent D’Onofrio is returning as Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin). He first appeared in the Marvel/Netflix series “Daredevil.” His portrayal has been praised for its depth and complexity, as well as its ability to bring to life a previously comic-book villain in a more realistic and nuanced way. D’Onofrio most recently reprised his role as Kingpin in the Disney+ “Hawkeye” series. The show’s finale was tragic for Kingpin.
What Is The Plot Of Daredevil: Born Again In Marvel Comics?
In Marvel Comics, Daredevil: Born Again follows Daredevil’s archenemy, Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin), discovering the secret identity of Daredevil (aka Matt Murdock) and using that knowledge to destroy his life. Fisk uses his vast wealth and resources to ruin Murdock’s reputation, destroy his law practice, and leave him homeless and destitute. As Murdock tries to rebuild his life, he is helped by a number of unlikely allies, including former lover Karen Page, who has fallen into drug addiction and prostitution, and Captain America, who provides Murdock with a new costume and shield. Murdock eventually confronts Fisk and is able to defeat him with the help of a small group of allies.
The series was announced during the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige stated that the upcoming show would have eighteen episodes and would premiere on Disney+ in spring 2024. Matt Corman and Chris Ord created the series for Disney+, based on Marvel Comics.
Daredevil: Born Again series also stars Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt, and Nikki M. James. The series is the MCU’s twenty-sixth television series and the ninth installment of Phase Five.
