According to Forbes, Nolan is estimated to have earned $72 million from “Oppenheimer,” which represents 15% of the movie’s box office revenue, home video sales, and licensing for its first streaming window. This figure is expected to rise further as the film is resold to streaming platforms and licensed in the future.

One talent manager who represents A-listers says, “He (Nolan) is the biggest movie star in the world right now.”

‘Oppenheimer’ received 13 Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor for Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Actor for Robert Downey Jr, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Sound, and Best Film Editing.

‘Oppenheimer’ was released in theaters on July 21, 2023, and became a huge success, grossing over $942 million worldwide. It claimed the third-highest-grossing film of the year, the top-grossing World War II-related film, the highest-grossing biographical film, and the second-highest-grossing R-rated film.
