Dakota Johnson has revealed that the first thing she did after getting the role of ‘Madame Web‘ was to run to see Elizabeth Olsen and talk about it. Johnson was relaxed and found comfort in Olsen.
According to Johnson, she had a meeting with Olsen in a hotel lobby. They discussed the role, and Olsen, who had experience in the MCU playing Wanda Maximoff, shared that she had a great time with Marvel.

Speaking to L’OFFICIEL USA, Johnson said, “When I got the ‘Madame Web’ role, I ran into Lizzie (Elizabeth) Olsen in the hotel lobby and spoke to her about it for a bit, and that was helpful. She said she had a great time and… seemed very relaxed about it, so that was comforting.”
According to the film’s plot: Meanwhile, in another universe… In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures—if they can all survive a deadly present.
Directed by S. J. Clarkson from a screenplay by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. The film is the sixth installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU). The film stars Johnson as Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Cornwall, Celeste O’Connor, and Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel Sims, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mamet.
