Recently, the release date of ‘Deadpool 3’ has been shifted from November 8, 2024, to May 3, 2024. However, the filming of other Marvel projects such as Blade and Thunderbolts has been paused due to the writers’ strikes. See the images below.
The filming location for ‘Deadpool 3’ is Pinewood Studios in London. Most recently, Jackman arrived in London, where he was sporting his classic Wolverine beard for the film.
According to Rob Liefeld, the creator of Deadpool, the X-Men will appear in “Deadpool 3.” Liefeld mentioned being blown away by the cast list and teased an epic crossover between Deadpool and characters like Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, and Beast. Liefeld also revealed that he met with Marvel President Kevin Feige and the producers of ‘Deadpool 3’ to discuss and give input on the different story ideas for the film last summer.
The film is directed by Shawn Levy. In the film, Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Rob Delaney as Peter, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and new additions Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen. The script is penned by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy. In the latest episode of The Cosmic Circle, host Brian Kitson and writer Alex Perez shared that the Scarlet Witch will be mentioned in ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’ and ‘Deadpool 3’.
