“Talk To Me” directors Danny and Michael Philippou’s new horror film for A24—titled “Bring Her Back“—has begun filming.
The announcement was made on Instagram by Danny, who posted the first page of the script containing the film’s title on his story—He wrote, “Day 1 begins, wish us luck.”
This marks the second collaboration between Danny and Michael Philippou and A24, following “Talk to Me,” which became A24’s highest-grossing horror film domestically.
“Bring Her Back” will star Sally Hawkins (“The Shape of Water”) and Billy Barratt (“Crater”)—the plot details are currently kept under wraps. More cast members will be revealed soon. The script is penned by Danny and Bill Hinzman.

Last summer, “Talk to Me” was released, which follows a group of teenagers who discover they can contact spirits using a mysterious severed and embalmed hand. The film became A24’s highest-grossing horror film domestically, grossing $91.9 million worldwide against a $4.5 million budget—Additionally, a sequel is currently in development.
‘Bring Her Back’ is scheduled for release in theaters by A24 in 2025.
