The VOD release date for Death of a Unicorn has been revealed. The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV, starting April 29, 2025.
Written and directed by Alex Scharfman, the film follows Elliot Kintner (Paul Rudd) and Ridley Kintner (Jenna Ortega), a father and daughter who accidentally hit and kill a unicorn, leading them to be hunted down by its parents.

The film also stars Richard E. Grant as Odell Leopold, Elliot’s boss, alongside Will Poulter as his son, Shepard, and Téa Leoni as his wife, Belinda. Anthony Carrigan plays Griff, the Leopolds’ butler, while Jessica Hynes portrays Shaw, their personal assistant. Sunita Mani and Steve Park star as Dr. Bhatia and Dr. Song, two scientists.
