Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom and Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards will reportedly team up to build special cannons in Avengers: Doomsday.
According to insider Daniel Richtman, Doctor Doom and Reed Richards will construct special cannons on every Earth to stop the incursions. This suggests that two of the most intelligent minds are working together to prevent worlds from colliding.
However, their approaches may differ. Doom has greater experience dealing with incursions, while Reed brings a more theoretical understanding. Despite this, the two will collaborate to build the cannons in an effort to save the multiverse.
According to a new leak, Steve Rogers’ move to the Fantastic Four universe caused the incursions. Doctor Doom then becomes obsessed with stopping them after a failed experiment kills his family and leaves him disfigured.
The Avengers: Doomsday reshoots are taking place this month, adding new cameos and fixing scenes that the Russo Brothers felt needed work.
According to scooper @JamesMackwl, Avengers: Doomsday will revisit Tony Stark’s funeral scene from Avengers: Endgame. Some of those characters may also return.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
