The new concept art for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ shows that the Scarlet Witch‘s crown is more than just an accessory; it’s part of her, and she becomes the Scarlet Witch in a horrifying way. If this concept art makes it into the final cut and director Sam Raimi, known for ‘Evil Dead,’ decides to keep it, then there’s a good chance that viewers will be in for a shock when they see Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch in ‘Multiverse of Madness.’ Watch the concept art below.
According to artist Ian Joyner, his concept for the film depicted a demonic version of Wanda. In his vision, the crown she wears isn’t just an ornament; it’s integrated into her flesh, symbolizing her transformation into the Scarlet Witch in a horrifying way.
Joyner said, “My idea was that her crown wasn’t just an adornment but was actually infused with her flesh. She’s becoming the Scarlet Witch in this horrific way.” Joyner added, “It was Wanda’s inner vision of herself, revealing that she sees herself as a monster. So it was a fun place to explore [her corruption]. She is the creature in the dark.”
