Eiza González will not appear in the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. She was rumored to play the role of Elektra in the series.
On Twitter, González denies reports that she has been cast as Elektra in the MCU. She told “I feel like I’m just gonna get it out of the way because I’m confused as for the amount of hate over this. No, I’m not cast as Elektra in Daredevil.” she added Id appreciate it if I could live free of negative ill intended messages about me playing/stealing? a role that I don’t even know about. Is González Playing Elektra In Daredevil: Born Again?
According to the actress, she is not a part of the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. González confirmed all the news spreading about her MCU entry is false. She was rumored to play the role of Elektra. Unfortunately, González denied it.
Daredevil: Born Again is a standalone sequel to Daredevil and a direct sequel to Echo. At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Marvel Boss Kevin Feige announced that a Daredevil series titled Daredevil: Born Again was in development. he confirmed that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio would be reprising their roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. Matt Corman and Chris Ord developed the script.
Daredevil: Born Again will premiere in the Spring of 2024.
