Emma Mackey Commented On Her Margot Robbie Look
Emma Mackey says she has seen the tweets about her looking like Margot Robbie, but she doesn’t think they are true. Fans have already noticed that Mackey is similar to Robbie. A number of rumors have circulated that Emma Mackey and Margot Robbie are siblings.
Speaking to Total Filmz, Emma Mackey told “It’s just funny.” she says “And I think Margot has had the grace and humor to be able to play on that and allow me to be in the same film as her – bless her. It’s just a joke in real life. I’m like, ‘We don’t look anything like each other.’ I don’t mind it. It’s Margot Robbie. Are you kidding me? She’s the best. I look up to her so much. I don’t mind the comparisons. But it would be nice to move past that.”
She had no comments on Internet controversies, she also shared her experience on working with Greta Gerwig. “My dream was to work with Greta,” she says. “When that came along, I was like, ‘I need to audition for this.’ I was really excited because Greta’s my hero, and I adore her. Working with her has been everything I could have dreamed of.”
Emma Mackey is best known for her roles in Netflix’s Sex Education as Maeve Wiley, an intelligent, quick-witted, business-savvy “bad girl”, She also appeared in the drama film Eiffel (2021) and the mystery film Death on the Nile (2022).
