The filming of ‘The Batman: Part II‘ will begin in March 2024. It was initially scheduled for November 2023 but got delayed due to ongoing strikes. The new production date has been confirmed, and the release date is scheduled for October 3, 2025.
‘The Batman: Part II’ is a continuation of the Batman story created by Matt Reeves, which is now officially recognized as an “epic crime saga” within The Batverse. Directed by Reeves and co-written by him and Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin. We already reported that Greig Fraser would return as cinematographer for the sequel.
Clayface to Feature in Batman Sequel
According to reports, Clayface is set to appear in the Batman sequel. In DC Comics, Clayface is known for his shapeshifting abilities, which allow him to change his appearance and mimic other people or objects.
The Batman follows Bruce Wayne (Pattinson) as he investigates a series of murders by The Riddler (Paul Dano), who keeps leaving the Caped Crusader clues at every crime scene. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Wright) and Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Kravitz), Batman must try to solve the riddles and stop The Riddler before he claims another victim, but not before he uncovers quite a few facts about Gotham City’s elite.
At the end of ‘The Batman,’ the Riddler targets the mayor and causes chaos. Batman and Commissioner Gordon investigate and find out about corruption involving crime bosses. The Riddler’s motives connect to Bruce Wayne’s family. Alfred gets hurt, secrets are revealed, and Selina Kyle is involved. Batman stops the Riddler, who has a grudge against corruption. There are bomb threats and flooding, but the Riddler’s plan fails. Selina leaves, and Batman promises to bring hope to Gotham. Watch the film now on Max.
