Filming for The Conjuring: Last Rites has officially begun.
Most recently, the first look at Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who reprise their roles as paranormal investigators and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren, was spotted in leaked set images online. Filming is currently taking place at Cassiobury Park in the United Kingdom.
The new images hint at the final entry in the horror franchise centered on the Warrens and related to the Warrens’ haunting case files. When you look at the pictures, you can see Farmiga and Wilson dressed for a funeral.
Directed by Michael Chaves, with a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Ian Goldberg, and Richard Naing. The film is a sequel to The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) and the ninth installment in The Conjuring Universe.
The synopsis for The Conjuring 4 follows, “Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren take on one last terrifying case involving mysterious entities they must confront.”
The film also stars Ben Hardy as Tony Spera and Mia Tomlinson as Judy Warren.
The film is produced by James Wan and Peter Safran, with production companies including New Line Cinema, The Safran Company, and Atomic Monster.
