John Cena Reveals Kenmaid Transformation in ‘Barbie’ Interview: Flowing Blonde Wig and Mysteries Tail Design
In a behind-the-scenes interview with iHollywoodTV, John Cena appears in a full Kenmaid costume, complete with a flowing blonde wig, a shell and pearl necklace, and white arm braces with blue accents. While the design of his mermaid tail remains a mystery, the concept art of Barbie mermaid toys gives an idea of the overall look expected in the film.
Cena said, “I was blown away with the concept.” Cena added, “I think it’s going to be a movie that all audiences enjoy. I think it’s going to be a movie that evokes conversation. I think it’s going to be beautifully visually appealing.”
“I think the ideas behind it – I think the audience will walk away with, like, a mixed bag of opinions, which I think is the greatest form of entertainment,” Cena continued. “When you don’t have just one universal feeling about a project, it’s not that it’s bad, but I think that people can get into a fiery debate about something, and that’s good.”
