Jon Favreau is set to reprise his role as Harold “Happy” Hogan in Marvel’s ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ as confirmed by trustworthy scooper (CanWeGetSomeToast). It will be a minor cameo sequence.
Favreau, the director of ‘Iron Man‘ (2008), the first MCU film, also played a role as Happy alongside Robert Downey Jr.‘s Tony Stark. He played the role in 10 MCU films, last on ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ (2021). As we all know, Happy is still part of the MCU, and in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ he will appear, as the film’s plot is based on the multiverse, which connects the Fox universe with the MCU.
Will Happy Returns in Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man 4’?
Following the death of Tony Stark in ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ Happy developed a close connection with Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Happy forgets about Peter at the end of the film due to the spell. Holland’s ‘Spider-Man 4’ is currently in development at Sony and Marvel, with filming scheduled to begin in September 2024. Currently, there are no reports regarding Happy’s role in it.
