The first look at Charlie Cox‘s Daredevil from Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has been revealed by Entertainment Weekly.
In the image, Daredevil is seen wearing a new dark, red-lit suit with textured black armor and a chest emblem that faintly displays the classic “DD” logo. The design takes inspiration from the Shadowland comic storyline.

In a recent interview with EW, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of TV and Streaming, confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 and Spider-Man: Brand New Day are connected, as “both exist in the same universe.”
Winderbaum explained, “We are communicating a lot with the team on Spider-Man: Brand New Day to make sure that there’s coherence there. We don’t want to spoil anything, but it very much exists in the same world and it is important. We’re in a shared universe together, but I would say just as the Daredevil comic books and the Punisher comic books depicted a certain tone and an idea of New York in a different way than Spider-Man’s, they both exist in the same universe. It’s similar. Everything lines up and the impacts are felt, but we’re able to tell different stories.”
Also, Matthew Lillard is playing a character named Mr. Charles in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. He will serve as an antagonist to Kingpin.
“The story is about power,” Winderbaum says. “When Wilson Fisk takes over New York, not just as a mayor but as a king in a way, it puts him in a new class of power players on the international stage. Matthew Lillard’s character represents that.”
Winderbaum describes Mr. Charles as “a bit of a new antagonist on the field.” He added, “But he’s as influential, in many ways, as Fisk is. That power negotiation at a very high level of politics and international diplomacy is also fun to watch. [Fisk] is dealing with Mr. Charles up here and Daredevil [Charlie Cox] down here for different reasons. So he’s getting squeezed a little bit.”

Winderbaum has confirmed that Elden Henson will return as Foggy Nelson in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
In Season 2, Cox returns as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter / Bullseye, Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, Clark Johnson as Cherry, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / Punisher, Royce Johnson as Brett Mahoney, and Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones; with recurring appearances by Matthew Lillard and Lili Taylor, and guest appearances by Camila Rodriguez as Angela del Toro, Susan Varon as Josie, Sydney Parra, and Annie Parisse.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ in March 2026 with eight episodes released weekly, as part of the MCU’s Phase Six. Season 1 is now streaming on Disney+.
