Here’s the plot details for Havoc:
After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through the criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.
In an interview with Empire, Evans assures that Havoc will deliver exactly what fans expect from a Hardy-Evans collaboration, with a strong focus on action. Evans says Hardy’s ‘intensely muscular’ central performance features a well-developed character with depth.
Evans said, “That’s the primary focus. But with Tom, what you get as well is an intensely muscular central performance, and really well-developed character. There’s a lot going on under the hood.” Evans added, “He’s basically on clean-up duty,” explains Evans, “and he has to navigate this broken city in order to get to him first. That’s the propulsive mission he goes on, and because it’s me, it doesn’t go well for a long time.”
Produced by Evans, Hardy, Ed Talfan, and Aram Tertzakian, with production companies including One More One, Severn Screen, and XYZ Films.
Havoc will be released on Netflix in 2025.
