Here’s the official plot details for Echo Valley:
A tragedy-stricken woman lives a secluded life taking care of horses on her farm—until one night when her wayward daughter shows up covered in someone else’s blood. This is a heart-pounding thriller about how far a mother will go for her child.

Directed by Michael Pearce from a screenplay by Brad Ingelsby.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, Sweeney said, “I’ve had a lot of family members deal with addiction and then struggle with similar issues as Claire and her friends, and her group that she hangs out with.” Sweeney added, “I’ve kind of had firsthand experience with it.”
The film stars Moore as Kate Garrett, Sweeney as Claire Garrett, Domhnall Gleeson as Jackie, Kyle MacLachlan as Richard Garrett, Fiona Shaw as Jessie Oliver, Edmund Donovan as Ryan, and Rebecca Creskoff.
Moore said of her character, “There’s a lot of action in this movie, but she’s an ordinary person.” She added, “What she does is extraordinary because she’s faced with it, not because she is able to do this stuff. She just feels that she has to.”
